Attorney Cinue Herrera was raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and has been a Texas native all his life. At a young age, Mr. Herrera noticed many of the hardships and difficulties immigrants faced year after year. Realizing that even today those same problems continue to exist, Mr. Herrera has dedicated his life as an Attorney to help those in need.

Motivated to learn more about how to better utilize the law to help others, Mr. Herrera made the decision to begin his legal career with an internship at the Circuit Attorney’s Office of St. Louis, MO. During his time at the Circuit Attorney’s Office, Mr. Herrera gained extensive criminal trial court experience and had the privilege of working under the Circuit Attorney, Kim Gardner, and the First Assistant, Robert Steele. Mr. Herrera learned more about the criminal justice system during his internship with the Felony Unit at the Dallas District Attorney’s Office. Here, Mr. Herrera worked with various police officers and chief prosecutors to keep the Dallas community safe.

After graduating from the Saint Louis University School of Law, Mr. Herrera began to work for an immigration non-profit organization in Texas. As an immigration attorney, Mr. Herrera primarily focused on the family side of immigration and learned about the various forms of relief available to those without legal status. In addition, Mr. Herrera helped many troubled immigrant families and conducted various immigration seminars to educate the community.

With all his extensive experience, Mr. Herrera continues to focus his career primarily on the family side of immigration and helps represent clients in both Immigration Court and USCIS matters. As an Attorney, he plans to continue using his role to help educate the immigrant community about the complex immigration system and their legal rights as undocumented individuals in the United States.

I believe people should have access to high quality legal services that are affordable, lack of financial resources shouldn’t take away a person’s opportunity have have their voice heard or their opportunity to gain legal status in this country.”
